In the highly competitive lubricant contract manufacturing industry, production equipment technology directly determines a company’s ability to secure high-end orders. Recently, Beijing VP Intelligent Technology successfully delivered an advanced Pigging Manifold System + DDU Decanting System to Shandong Haoming Lubricant Technology Co., Ltd., supporting its critical step toward industrial upgrading.
Project Background
Shandong Haoming Lubricant Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2012 and located in Dongying, Shandong Province, is a professional lubricant manufacturer integrating R&D, production, sales, large-scale storage, and logistics services.

To further improve automation and meet OEM requirements from premium brands such as Mobil, Castrol, and Shell, the company upgraded its fluid transfer, pipeline cleaning, and additive dosing systems to achieve more stable, efficient, and precise modern production.
Customer Challenges
- Complex piping layout with excessive lines, large space occupation, and high maintenance cost;
- No pigging capability, leading to product residue and cross-contamination;
- Low accuracy in manual additive dosing, affecting product consistency;
- Limited capacity and process level, restricting access to small-scale high-end orders.
Solution: DDU + Pigging Manifold System
Beijing VP Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. delivered a customized integrated solution combining a Pigging Manifold System and a DDU Decanting System, significantly improving fluid transfer efficiency, pipeline cleanliness, and precise raw material dosing.

The manifold system adopts a matrix design, using horizontal and vertical pipeline intersections for precise manual control, significantly reducing piping complexity and footprint. It supports flexible configurations including one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, and many-to-many switching, enabling optimized investment and operational efficiency. The system integrates seamlessly with the pigging system (Pigging System), enabling efficient multi-product transfer within a shared pipeline network. Through pigging technology, pipelines are cleaned online before and after product changeovers, effectively reducing residue and minimizing cross-contamination risks. This enables safer and more reliable multi-product pipeline usage while reducing cleaning costs and material loss.

The VP Drum Decanting Unit (DDU) automatically and precisely extracts materials from 200L drums or IBC containers and transfers them into blending vessels. It fully replaces manual dosing and ensures high-precision additive handling for advanced lubricant production.
1. Quality Upgrade Enables High-End Orders Improved pipeline cleanliness and product consistency meet international OEM standards, enabling cooperation with leading brands such as Mobil, Castrol, and Shell. 2. Process Optimization and Capacity Increase The manifold system simplifies layout and improves transfer efficiency, while pigging reduces changeover time and product loss, supporting larger production volumes. 3. Cost Reduction and Operational Safety Reduced piping waste and maintenance costs, lower contamination risks, and improved compliance with environmental and safety standards. 4. Industrial Upgrade and Benchmark Achievement As a strategic upgrade project, the solution significantly improves automation and standardization, positioning the company as a benchmark in the private lubricant manufacturing sector.
